Definitions

Type Definition Sources
Noun Remote users often must present logon credentials to the workstation to gain access. Occasionally, they may present credentials for a local account on the workstation. In the "Classic" security model, even though a remote user is using local credentials, they still gain access based on restrictions for the local account. However, the " Guest Only" model remaps the remote user to the guest account, so they will only be able to access resources available to guests. (used 0 times in citations and controls)
  • Per ISO 704:2009 methodology
