affected party's needs and interests

Definitions

Type Definition Sources
Noun The requirements and stakes of parties affected by organizational activities. The object of a need is something which we must have and the interests are the direct object of those needs as a reliable means is to an end. Whereas “needs” most refer to the sorts of things we tend to desire as ends, and at least in the most obvious cases, our well-being depends on having them, “interests” seems to refer not only to objects of human needs but also to the things that seem reliably related to them as means to ends.
