Configurable Item CRL is a digitally signed data file containing details of each digital certificate that has not been revoked. This can be downloaded and installed into the browser that the user will use, ensuring that the browser will not trust a revoked digital certificate. A CRL is generated and published periodically, often at a defined interval. The CRL is always issued by the CA which issues the corresponding certificates. (used 0 times in citations and controls)
